Cygnus Cross has released the first patch for the Emberville Steam Next Fest demo. Alpha Demo version 0.20.17.x focuses on startup problems, localization, control rebinding, controller navigation, interface text, and several gameplay issues reported by players.

Startup and Display#
- Fixed a problem that could leave the game on a black loading screen with some Windows configurations.
- Corrected several text-box sizing problems.
- Fixed a font-related issue.
- Corrected a mouse tooltip error.
Localization#
- Improved text across several supported languages.
- Fixed a language-related problem during cutscenes.
- Corrected issues affecting Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
- Fixed text that was not displaying correctly in certain languages.
- Addressed an additional language configuration issue.
Controls and Interface#
- Added links for Bilibili and QQ.
- Fixed the Reset All Bindings button in the keyboard configuration menu.
- Corrected several key-rebinding problems.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the Back button from working correctly.
- Fixed controller input preventing clothing color selection.
Gameplay and Progression#
- Corrected the description of a class skill.
- Fixed Palm Strike incorrectly having a guaranteed stun chance.
- Corrected the name and description displayed for the Generic Power mastery.
- Fixed a leveling problem that could occur while changing scenes.
- Corrected the calculation used for the experience penalty after death.
Additional Work#
- Other minor bugs were fixed and additional improvements were made.
Known Issue#
Cygnus Cross is investigating a controller problem where the left and right shoulder buttons may not work correctly in some tabs and menus on certain systems.
